MOTHER's DAY PROJECTS (ages 5+)

Updated: May 8, 2020

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10th. If you want to make something for your mother or someone special, you are welcome to practice one or more of these projects:

"Z" Mother's Day Card!

(ages 5+)

This Mother's Day card looks great with lots of colors and patterns. You can add whatever works for your card to make it more personal. 1. Start with large white construction paper that measures about 6" x 18". Fold the panels into thirds to make a “Z” fold.

2. Draw a block letter in each of the spaces to spell "M O M." (You can make or use stencils with cardboard for younger students to trace)

3. Draw each letter in each panel large. Add different patterns or around the letters. Add other loving drawings or whatever feels good.

4. Trace lines with black marker.

5. Color letters and patterns and the background.

6. Write a loving Mother's Day message on the back of your card
